🐾 Appointments & Scheduling
-
You can request an appointment by clicking the “Book Now” button on our website or message/call us at 814-526-4767. We recommend booking ahead since we only take one dog at a time.
-
Absolutely! I can groom multiple dogs from the same household either together or individually. Appointments are typically scheduled back-to-back, and you’re welcome to drop them off together or at different times — whatever works best for you. If more than one dog is at the spa at the same time, one may relax in a comfortable area of the spa, including a cozy custom kennel, while their companion is being groomed.
-
Most appointments last 2–4 hours depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, anxieties and services requested. One-on-one care means your pup’s spa experience is customized to them and their specific needs. I lead with patience so the appointment time often depends on your pups needs. There appointment is solely focused on them, they are never made to wait in a kennel. They are offered breaks to reduce anxiety, go potty, enjoy approved treats and fresh water is always available to them. After their initial spa appointment it is much easier to estimate how long future appointments will last.
-
Usually dogs relax better when their parent steps out, but if your pup has unique special needs we are open to discuss and make a plan.

Absolutely! Book a Private Spa tour and Meet & Greet the same way you would book a spa appointment. I love to meet you and your pup to have the opportunity to learn about their needs in detail and design a customized wellness process and schedule that keeps them happy and healthy.
✂️ Services & Grooming
-
At our Solo Dog Spa, only one dog is in the spa at a time. This creates a calm, safe, and low-stress environment where your dog receives my full, undivided attention. Each appointment is thoughtfully tailored to your dog’s individual needs, with plenty of time for breaks to reduce anxiety, go potty, stretch their legs, relax, and enjoy pet-parent-approved treats. Fresh, clean water is always available, and your dog is never left waiting alone in a kennel — they are cared for and attended to throughout their entire visit.
I am professionally educated and certified in dog anatomy, behavior, handling, safety, and Pet First Aid and CPR — all with a focus on grooming. I use this knowledge to reduce stress and provide safer, more personalized care that supports your dog’s overall health and well-being.
The spa is thoughtfully designed to reduce anxiety and promote comfort. I use low-decibel tools, gentle handling, calming music, aromatherapy, and premium products to create a peaceful experience. The space accommodates dogs of all ages, sizes, and abilities, with anti-slip padded mats and electronically adjustable tables and tubs that allow for easy, low-entry access—helping your dog move safely and comfortably throughout their appointment.

Every spa service package includes essential wellness care designed to keep your dog happy and healthy — including a bath, blowout, routine coat care, nail trim and buffing, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, sanitary trim and a gentle, tear-free facial massage. During each appointment, I also perform a gentle wellness check, monitoring your dog’s skin, coat, ears, mouth, eyes, and paws for any concerns that may be worth discussing with your veterinarian.
In addition to our core service packages, we offer a Focused Care Collection designed to address acute, seasonal, or specific needs your dog may experience at different stages of life.
For pups who don’t need a full groom, we also offer standalone services, such as nail trims and bang trims.

I lead with patience and work at your dog’s pace. If a dog needs a break we pause, offer water, rest, pet parent approved treats, cuddles, potty breaks and continue when they’re ready. Our one-on-one schedule allows time to meet your dog’s needs without rushing.
-
Most dogs benefit from grooming every 4–8 weeks, depending on breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Regular grooming keeps them clean, comfortable, and healthy. Contact us to discuss your dog’s specific needs so we can formulate a schedule that works best for you and your pup.
-
Value comes from one-on-one care in a calm, stress-free environment, expert handling, premium products, and certified knowledge in Pet CPR and dog safety. Your pup leaves happy, healthy, and comfortable, and you get peace of mind.
-
No. I exclusively use hand drying so I can closely monitor your dog’s comfort, stress levels, and body language. This allows for a safer, calmer experience and ensures your dog is never left unattended during the drying process.
-
Kenneling is not part of the standard Charlie's Dog Spa experience. I do have a spacious, cozy, custom-designed kennel that may be used briefly and intentionally — such as when I need to step away for a moment or when grooming dogs from the same household who prefer to relax in a kennel while their companion is being groomed.
